Why not just rely on labels? We choose not to use them because we believe they don't offer genuine transparency. Paying high fees to external (often western) consultants doesn’t directly benefit the people we aim to support in Ethiopia. Instead, we focus on giving you real, measurable facts. How much more do our production employees earn compared to the Ethiopian average? How much local value is retained through our processing? Where exactly does your coffee originate? After roasting, the coffee beans are shipped from the port of Djibouti, beginning their journey overseas.
